Google Pixel 6 shown off ahead of launch

According to the Pixel 6 teaser, the handset will feature a 6.4-inch, 90Hz, Full HD+ AMOLED display.

Almost a month after the first Pixel 6 preview, Google has released its first Pixel 6 teaser. This 30-second video with the tagline “For All You Are” gives viewers a glimpse of what the hardware looks like without rendering it.

Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be the following two models in the series. They both have a dual-tone rear panel and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

A 6.4-inch Full-HD AMOLED display will be present on Google Pixel 6, while a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display will be available on Google Pixel 6 Pro. There will be up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage on the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, paired with a Tensor chipset. The Pixel 6 Pro, which packs a 5,000mAh battery, Pixel 6 will have a 4,614mAh battery. In addition to 33W fast-charging and Android 12 OS, the pair will also support Wi-Fi 6 and 5G.

In addition, Google has already announced that the next Gen Pixel 6 series will use its in-house processor, known as the Tensor. In addition to these features, Google has confirmed more. A horizontal camera bar replaces the traditional square or circular module at the back of the screen.

9to5Google reports that some clock widgets in the teaser suggest the Pixel 6 series will launch on October 19, even though Google hasn’t officially confirmed that date. According to the company, the Pixel 6 Series will only be available by later this fall.” However, there is speculation that they may be on sale starting October 28.
